Today was supposed to be a KB workout but I decided I should probably give my hands a rest before my KB class on Sat. So instead, I decided to a slightly different variation on a couplet workout.
Workout: 5 Couplets, 10/40, 2xs each
Couplet 1:
1a. Triplet Sumo Squat Jump
1b. TRX Tricep Presses
Couplet 2:
2a. Exploding Star Jumps
2b. TRX Atomic Push Ups
Couplet 3:
3a. Skater Jump Lunges
3b. TRX Low Rows
Couplet 4:
4a. Ninja Jump Tucks
4b. TRX Swimmer Pulls -rt
Couplet 5:
5a. Squat Jumps
5b. TRX Swimmer Pulls- left
Workout Stats:
Avg HR- 150
Max. HR- 169
Min. HR- 89
Time Above- 12:41
Time In- 3:56
Time Below- 0:31
Burn- 12g, 92.8Kc
As I was finishing up this workout, I realized that the exercises I chose for the cardio sections would have made for a great Tabata workout...... I may have to try that sometime. Maybe using the exercises to do a Tabata at the beginning and the end with the arm work sandwiched between.
