I did it, I bought a 20lb KB yesterday. I'm already thinking I may have to get a heavier one, but we'll see. I knew I wanted to use it this moring for my workout but wasn't quite sure what to do with it. Since I'm only really familiar with swings at this point, I knew I needed a workout that was swings only. So I looked over Tracy Reifkind's blog to get some inspiration. I found her "Another 100" workout and used that as a starting point. Unfortuantely, since I'm new to the world of KB, I didn't know what all of the notations meant, so I did my best and faked the rest. Here is what I came up with.
Workout: 30+ min
10 sets of 10 2-handed swings, rest approx. 10 sec. between sets
10- 2hd swings, rest approx. 10 second
20- 2hd swings, rest approx. 20 seconds
30- 2hd swings, rest approx. 30 seconds
40- 2hd swings, rest approx. 45 seconds
5 sets of 5- 1hd swings per hand
40- 2hd swings, rest approx. 45 seconds
30- 2hd swings, rest approx. 30 seconds
20- 2hd swings, rest approx. 20 seconds
10- 2hd swings, rest approx. 10 seconds

This was a decent workout, not too intense, but I noticed part way through that my legs were sweating... which is unusual for me. It went by pretty fast, and I think I could enjoy these types of workouts, especially if I can get a bit more creative and add in a few snatches, cleans, etc.
