Fitness Challenge Day #20

Saturday is normally a rest day for me but we have guests coming into town this weekend and I know I will miss at least one workout while they are here. So I decided to be proactive and go ahead and exercise today in anticipation of a missed workout.

I did Zuzana's newest workout the Sexy Hot Cool Workout (http://www.bodyrock.tv/2010/05/28/sexy-hot-cool-workout/).   This workout had 3 parts... the first was a timed workout, the second part was intervals, and the third part was another timed section. 

Part 1: 6 Rounds of the Following
10 High Knees
10 Explosive Push-ups


Part 2: 8 Rounds of 10 sec/50 sec Intervals
Elevated Push-up with Knee Tuck
Step-up Left Leg
Step-up Right Leg
Reverse Knee Tucks


Part 3: 6 Rounds of the Following
10 Mountain Climbers (2 jumps is 1 rep)
10 Jump Lunges



This was a short workout but one of the more intense workouts I've done on their site. It was a total body workout which I always like.... lots of pushups for the arms, lot of step ups and jumps for the legs, and lots of planks and knee tucks for the abs. Total, the entire workout took me about 15 1/2 minutes. Next time if I want to make it even harder and longer I think I'd just add an extra round in part two of the workout.
