Fitness Challenge Day #13 and #14

Well, Day 13 is a Saturday and my scheduled rest day... so I took advantage of it.

Day 14 I did the Get Hot Cardio Workout (http://www.bodyrock.tv/2010/05/23/get-hot-cardio-workout/).  This workout alternated between cardio sets and core strengthening sets.

1. High Knees 500 reps
2. Leg Lift, Star Crunch, Bum Lift 30 reps
3. Low Jacks 500 reps
4. Side Plank Lifts 25 per side
5. Scissor Jumps 500 reps
6. Hanging Knee Raises 25 reps


The intro on the bodyrock.tv site really builds this workout up as being a brutal workout but I didn't think it was too bad. I felt like I could have pushed myself harder and gotten my heartrate up more if only I could have performed the moves faster. There is a limit as to how fast I can move my legs in and out in the low jacks and back in forth in the scissor moves. The high knees were definitely the most intense of the cardio portion as you can get moving pretty fast and I worked really hard to keep my knees high, even at rep 500. I'd say the ab exercises were the hardest part of this workout for me.  I completed this workout in 20:27 (I think, I'm having a hard time reading my own writing!).
