This morning I did another one of Zuzana's newer workouts, the Butt Buster Wo. It was a 10/30 interval workout consisting of 6 different exercises. I upped the number of rounds to 5, to make a total workout of 20 minutes. The exercises in this workout were as follows:
1. Elevated Leg Lunge Jump rt
2. Elevated Leg Lunge Jump left
3. Elbow Plank Side Hops
4. Exploding Star
5. Pendlum Jump
6. Ab Buster Exercise (alot like seated bicycle)
The exercises in this workout felt really hard while I was doing them. There were several times throughout where I quit a second or two early or took a second or two breather during the work interval. Part of that may be because I was really dragging this morning and didn't want to get out of bed! However, I still think this was a pretty tough workout. Surprisingly, my HR didn't get as high as I would have thought, especially with all of the leg work.... only 140 BPM. It may be that the ab work at the end slowed it up a bit, but I did notice throughout the workout that I wasn't breathing as hard as I sometimes do. This may be because the intensity of some of the exercises caused me to slow them down and fatigue muscles before fatiguing my heart?!?! After I finished the workout I added 2 sets of 5 pull ups. I would have gone for another round but I ran out of time (and quite honestly, motivation).
